The Ubuntu Network, invites you to attend our annual Dialogue Day on the theme of Educator Self-Awareness & Critical Reflection for GCE, taking place on Tuesday, 10th June 2025 at the Hodson Bay Hotel, Athlone. This daylong event will focus on how teacher educators and pre-service teachers examine their own assumptions, values, and positions in relation to power, identity, and social justice. (6) Liaison Officer – Migration Programme - 10 June
The Irish Red Cross is tasked under its mandate as auxiliary to the Irish Government to strengthen responses to the welfare and wellbeing needs of migrants, refugees and beneficiaries of temporary protection. This role will be Dublin office based-full time- working in HQ reception to be the first point of contact for all visitors arriving at the office in need of assistance. (7) GAP Ireland: GLAS Monaghan Programme - 20 June
Thanks to funding from the EU PEACE PLUS Programme, we’re launching a dynamic new initiative: GLAS Monaghan, a new programme that brings together sustainability, community connection, and local action. At the heart of this programme is a simple idea: people from all backgrounds, traditions and communities can come together around shared green spaces and a common love for the environment. The Irish Global Health Network is seeking an experienced Event Manager to manage (alongside our Events Officer) our upcoming Tedx styled, two-day conference - IGHNxEU 2025: Empowering Women for a Healthier Europe. Courses and Training
(1) Maynooth University: International Justice LLM programme - 30 June
The International Justice masters programme provides students with vital practical and conceptual insights into issues of human rights, equality and social justice under international law. It provides deep, critical engagement with how the international legal order works and how it seeks to advance rights and justice for economically marginalised communities, migrants and racialised groups, victims of gendered violence, people with disabilities, and global south peoples. The masters is open to applicants with legal and non-legal backgrounds alike. It includes special guest lectures from UN Special Rapporteurs and other leading figures, a trip to the Hague to visit international courts and institutions, and the option of a placement module to work part-time at one of our partner organisations. (2) Saolta: Training of Trainers Summer Edition: Peacebuilding in Outdoor Education - 19 June
This hybrid training is free and open to all adult and community educators across the island of Ireland to build their knowledge of, and capacity in, Global Citizenship Education. This Outdoor Summer Edition includes: 3 online sessions, 2 full Experiential Peacebuilding days (in the Wicklow and Mourne Mountains) and individualised coaching and mentoring sessions. (3) Maynooth University: Dr Sinead McGrath Memorial Scholarship Scheme, 2025/26 - 1 September
The Department of International Development, Maynooth University welcomes applications for a Masters bursary, which is worth €2500 for the winning student. Interested applicants are invited to submit a CV, a personal statement ( 500 words) and a short outline (400 words) on their proposed research topic and its place within the theory and practice of international development, or international peacebuilding, to internationaldevelopment(a)mu.ie. (4) Maynooth University: Post-graduate programmes at MU Department of International Development - 30 June
Join us at the Department of International Development, Maynooth University, on our PG and MA programmes, which start in September 2025 (full- or part-time). These include our PG Cert. in Global Citizenship Education, MA in International Development, and our MA in International Peacebuilding, Security and Development Practice. (1) Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade: Shared Island Civic Society Fund Applications Now Open - 27 June
The Shared Island Civic Society Fund is now open for applications from Monday 26 May 2025 at 9.30am until the final closing date of Friday 27 June 2025 at 11:59pm Dublin Time. Please be aware that this will be the only application round in 2025. (2) Carmichael : Carmichael opens applications for the Good Governance Awards 2025 - 11 September
Any nonprofit organisation in Ireland, whether a charity, company, sports club or community association, can enter its annual report and financial statements into the Awards for free and it will receive individual feedback to help improve future annual reports. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in November. Nonprofits with an annual income of less than €100,000 win 1 free place on a training course of their choice for entering the awards and win 2 additional training places if they are shortlisted to win.
